Daisy is the queen of the herd. She is my baby, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother here at Lil Goat Town. You couldn’t catch her at first but after a few days and a lot of time with her she became such a sweetheart.
Chloe is my escape artist. She climbed out of the kidding pen at six weeks old. She pushed a shopping cart in front of the gate to climb on to open the gate latch. Then, her first time being bred was quick and took a second look at the buck and jumped the fence.
Delaney is the quiet little sweetheart. She will just wait so patiently for you to pet her and will stand so still for you. She has the sweetest personality. She just loves you to pet her for hours. When she is in heat she will scream nonstop for the boys for three days straight.
Kinsley is my stubborn one. Trying to get her to do something she doesn’t want to ha ha ha. Everything is her way only especially when it comes to the food. She is like a barricade and trust me there is no way of going around her.
Skylie will never be left alone. She is always with her momma or her brother Pokey. I tried to find a picture of her by herself but I couldn’t. She is always with someone snuggling or giving kisses. She just wants to cuddle.
Ainsley was very skittish at first. It took a lot to warm up to me but once she did she was all about getting attention. She loves her grain mix so much that she will squeeze by or under or over to get through to the milk stand to get her bowl of goodies. She cracks me up to see her do this instead of just waiting for her turn.
Miley is my lap goat. If I sit down she will push her way to my lap and not let anyone on me. She is like a big fluffy pillow stuck on me. She is always the first to come running when I walk through the gate.
Zoey is my little jumper. She is always springing around whenever she walks or runs. She is a little feisty popping all over Lil Goat Town.
Paisley was always getting cold so she spent the most time watching Netflix with me. She gives me those pretty blue eyes and I cave in. She made her way into my heart but also into the house.
Lindsey she is just a cuddle bunny. She will hold on tight to your shoulder and lay her head down and just snuggle into your body. Such a wonderful feeling.
Sadie is my tiny goat with a big attitude. She is definitely the one that has that little sassy personality. It goes great with my granddaughter’s personality. That is probably why she chose her to keep as her own to do 4H. How will that work with two little princesses?
Gracie is my big super mamma. She always just did her own thing. She didn’t care much for the rest of her herd. To her it was all about her kids. She was such a great mom who will be missed forever. She will stay with us always and be cherished in our hearts.
Pokey is my sweetheart that does everything at his own pace, slowwww. He is the calmest goat ever. When I let everyone out of the gate he would get locked in because he took so long to get out. That’s how he got his name, Pokey. Pokey, was always getting left behind so we brought him to the Farmers Markets with us when he was about 12 weeks old. He ended up becoming our sales goat at the Farmers Markets and loves it. He is also Captain of the Beach Goat Yoga Team.
Peter is such a pumpkin. He is a big fluffy pillow just like his sister Miley. He just wants to curl up with you and go to sleep on your lap even when you are driving. Peter has become our new sales goat at the Farmers Markets.
Ryder he is our crazy kid. He spends most of the days as high as he can get no matter what goat pen, I put him into. He was sold as a baby but they couldn’t take him after all. So, he just kicks it with the bucks (which helps to mellow them out). I’m waiting but not looking forward to the day he hops the fence into the neighbor’s yard. They have the most beautiful flowers and trees.
Chewy was the goat that needed a pacifier. Since they don’t make goat pacifiers he used us instead. He finally grew out of that stage but the name still stuck around. The funny thing is his name is actually Luke. I thought of Luke Bryan but my granddaughter thought of Luke Cameron. Either way he is still Chewy and my beautiful stinky buck.
Rascal is exactly how his name sounds. He started out to be my skittish little buckling but later just turned into the mischievous buck. He is always running around getting into trouble. Now he is still doing that, but giving me such beautiful babies in the meantime. Keep it up, Rascal.
